Six tapes (in this case, it's 5 full tapes and 2 half-tapes) fully digitized and remastered and divided into two files each (A sides and B sides). Files have not been divided up into single songs, because that is not how the music would have been presented or enjoyed when these tapes were made.

Featuring a tape called March Men Ted and Tony, a mysterious 132,  and a Roy Thode Tape that contains only the A side, since the tape snapped while digitizing and a Roy Thode single side called "Valentine."

Privy Privy does not purport to "own" the music on these tapes. However, we are the keepers and stewards of the physical objects: these tapes and the information contained on the cases. All money raised through digital downloads goes to recoup the cost of having the tapes professionally digitized, remastered, archived and hosted online, so that this music and the culture and history to which it is central can continue to be shared and appreciated.

Much like buying a handful of mysterious tapes from a bargain bin at a record store, or being gifted a mixtape by a crush, we hope you'll enjoy some of the mystery and discovery of purchasing a set without knowing every single thing you'll find on it, and allowing it toreveal itself to you. Much of the music on these tapes is pure delight. There are always gonna be a few clunkers. But that can be true even when you know what you're getting in advance!

If you have specific thoughts or notes on anything you hear, please send them to us!
